Visit Djerdap National Park, located on the beautiful river Danube. Enjoy swimming and take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains in Serbia and Romania. EU members can enjoy free 3G roaming with Romanian providers. Please note that access to the park can be challenging via the narrow old road parallel to Road 34. If you are coming from the south, follow signs for ‘Kanjon Boljetinske’. From the north, exit at the archeological site ‘Lepenski Vir’ and take the small road going south. To get to the river, there is a narrow steep dirt track that may be difficult to navigate. For those who prefer an easier option, there is a good spot 40m higher up with less impressive views. Enjoy a peaceful night with the soothing sounds of frogs and occasional traffic on the Romanian side of the river.

This location is situated by the Danube River and can be easily accessed from both sides. Visitors should exercise caution when swimming, as there are many snakes, including the Vipera ammodytes species. Take care to watch your step and avoid areas where they may be present.
