Stay at a campsite located on a horse breeding farm near the town of Thorpe-le-Soken. Within walking distance, you can find various dining, drinking, and shopping options. The campsite is also conveniently located just a 30-minute drive from Harwich Ferry Port and is close to a train station. While the sanitary facilities are basic, the campsite offers affordable rates.
We stayed here for two nights after arriving on the day boat. The owners were very helpful and young. There are three fields on the site, each with its own partially new and very clean sanitary facilities. You can easily walk to the nearby village from the fields. Within a 10km radius, there are two seaside resorts with beaches, and there are public footpaths that run along the campsite. We highly recommend it!
