The location features a boat pier and a small beach, along with another parking area and beach on the other side of the bridge. It can be noisy due to road traffic, but it serves as a convenient option to stay during February when campsites are not open. It tends to get busy in the summer with water sports enthusiasts. Restrooms for both genders were closed when we visited, but they are open during the summer along with a small fish and chip cabin.
Great spot for the night, but unfortunately, the toilets are closed and the highway is less than 500 meters away, causing continuous noise from passing cars throughout the night. On a positive note, there is a nearby clean lake available for swimming.
