Enjoy the convenience of a family-friendly campsite nestled in a forest near the city. With excellent access to public transportation (bus 291 and bus 155), getting to the city center is a breeze.
This is a lovely camping site, and it is recommended to make a reservation in advance. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, and the mother gave us a detailed description of how to get to the city (bus stop 200 meters away, bus runs every 20 minutes) including a city map. The hospitality and organization were excellent.
I stayed at Ave natura camping for two nights. Despite some noise from the road, the atmosphere was relatively calm. Gabor provided a warm and efficient welcome in English. The camping pitches were of average size and made of gravel and dirt. The shared facilities, including one men's toilet, two women's toilets, and four showers, were very clean. The bus 291, which takes you to the city center, stops just 200m away. Gabor also sells bus tickets, which cost 5000 HUF for a 24-hour pass for up to four people. I would recommend this place.
