There is a shelter with seating on the side of a hiking trail. It is a good starting point for hiking in two directions: one leads to the Steinhorster basin and the other follows the Furlbach path.

Quiet spot in nature. Perfect for hiking around the nearby lake. Some joggers and walkers during the day. Very peaceful at night!
