This property is a quiet, flat meadow surrounded by two streams (Humme and Grieße) in the Weserbergland region between the towns of Hameln and Bad Pyrmont. It is located on the outskirts, close to a public swimming pool, fitness center, tennis courts, football field, golf course, and Boule lanes. The Weserbergland region is known for its beautiful cycling and hiking trails, including the North Sea - Lake Constance trail and the Weser Cycle Path. Within walking distance (500 - 900m) are various shopping options (bakery, butcher, convenience store, organic store, supermarket) as well as several restaurants in the historic town center.
Arrived spontaneously, easily got a spot on the campsite. The owner was friendly and helpful, showed us everything and even provided a bread delivery service, which was excellent! There was a common room with a self-service fridge and payment on trust. The shared bathroom was clean, nicely decorated, and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this campsite!
